If you aren't ready to start the design today but know you have a paper coming in May or June, you can pre-pay during the promo period to lock in the 30% discount. Work can commence any time before June 30, 2026.
This offer is valid for new projects booked between January 15 and March 31, 2026. To "book" a project, the initial deposit must be paid or a formal University Purchase Order (PO) must be received by 11:59 PM MST on March 31.
Promotional slots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is not guaranteed until the deposit is received or a PO is processed. We recommend booking early to secure your spot.
A non-refundable 50% deposit of the promotional rate is required to secure your spot in the production queue. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final high-resolution files.
While the project must be booked by March 31, work may commence any time before June 30, 2026. This allows labs to lock in the rate for papers that are currently in the final drafting stages.
As the subject matter expert, the Principal Investigator (PI) or designated lead researcher is responsible for the final review of all scientific content. Insight Illustrations is responsible for the visual execution and clarity based on the data provided.
The promotional rate includes two (2) rounds of revisions. Significant changes to the scientific scope or "story" after the initial drafting phase may incur additional hourly fees.
Upon final payment, the client is granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the artwork for all academic and promotional purposes (publications, presentations, websites, and social media). The illustrator retains the copyright and the right to display the work in professional portfolios.
If a project is canceled by the client after work has begun, the initial deposit will be retained to cover the time spent on discovery and initial drafting.
